This week’s Midnight Mix is delivered by DJ Alex Lee. Hailing from Essex, he’s been mixing since 1992.

Alex first started out playing hardcore and drum and bass before moving into house and garage, playing at venues like the Berwick Manor and Ministry of Sound.

Apart from djing, Alex also produces beats and was responsible for the underground garage classics ‘Hard to See’ and ‘Move to the Beat.’

Well it's certainly been an exciting year so far in what is my 20th as a house and garage DJ.

To celebrate I've dug deep into the archives and found a cracking little garage mix I recorded live for Underground Flavaz in August 2000.

It brings back amazing memories of my time on Indulgence and Force and fantastic nights out DJ'ing at Ministry, Club Colosseum, Berwick Manor, Hollywood Romford etc.

Must send a massive shout out to a few old skool people on this one; Steph, Nicky Noo, Jo, Wilson, Gregg, Johnny M, Nicky S, New Decade, Paulie D, Kempy etc. Good days.
